A Vehicle Guidance Model with a Close-to-Reality Driver Model and Different Levels of Vehicle Automation

چکیده

This paper presents a microscopic vehicle guidance model which adapts to different levels of automation. Independent the vehicle, driver built is from common simulation models that regard and as unit. The term “Vehicle Guidance Model” covers, here, both human well combination assistance system up fully autonomously operated vehicles without (human) driver. Therefore, can be combined with kinds models. As result, types (human/machine) (internal combustion engine/electric) simulated. Mainly two parts constitute in this paper: first part traditional car-following adjusted according degrees automation level. represents level for present near more distant future. second fuzzy control describes how humans adjust pedal position when they want reach target speed their vehicle. An experiment 34 subjects was carried out driving simulator based on experimental data strategy determined. Finally, comparing simulated actual data, it found reproduce behavior participants almost accurately.
